One of the things that truly stands out about LaRavia is his relentless hustle on the court. He embodies the spirit of a perfect 'glue guy,' always contributing to the team's effort. There was a fantastic sequence where he sprinted to chase a long rebound into the corner, only to be narrowly beaten by a Bulls player. However, he quickly recovered, positioning himself in front of Nikola Vučević after an early three-pointer and boxing him out effectively to secure the rebound on the defensive end. This kind of gritty effort is something I probably don't give him enough credit for.

And this is the part most people miss... Luka made it look incredibly easy, perhaps one of his most fluid performances in a long time. This game showcased what might have been his best shooting display from three-point range this season. What's particularly significant is that he was able to close out the game with clutch threes, something that hasn't happened with such regularity this year. This could be a positive indicator of Luka and Redick finding more effective ways to manage the game's pace throughout the first three quarters.

Jaxson Hayes
- Stats: 23 minutes, 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 2 fouls, 3-4 FG, 2-2 FT, +26
Yes, there's one undeniable highlight from Hayes in this game! That spectacular play was both thrilling and a little nerve-wracking, as he seemed to pull it off by the narrowest of margins. Beyond that moment, Hayes was surprisingly effective defensively. He was part of several switching defensive schemes that required him to quickly close out on perimeter shooters, a task he handled admirably.

Gabe Vincent

His most impactful play of the night was receiving an incredible behind-the-back, crosscourt pass from Luka and wisely opting to dish it to Rui, who then sank a three-pointer.

Rui Hachimura
- Stats: 29 minutes, 23 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 foul, 9-11 FG, 4-5 3PT, 1-2 FT, +22
Following a strong fourth quarter performance in Dallas, Rui delivered four excellent quarters in Chicago. He was on fire from the opening tip, providing a much-needed offensive spark off the bench, something the Lakers have struggled to consistently get this season.
