The Ifta success extends beyond Nostalgie, with several other local winners at the 2026 Ifta ceremony. Belfast actor Anthony Boyle was named Best Lead Actor in a drama for House of Guinness, while Lola Petticrew won in the Lead Actress category for Trespasses. BBC NI's police show Blue Lights took home the Best Drama award, and renowned County Armagh cinematographer Seamus McGarvey was recognized for his work on Die My Love. Author Maggie O'Farrell, originally from Coleraine, jointly won the Best Film Script award with her Hamnet co-writer Chloé Zhao. Ciarán Hinds, a veteran Belfast actor, was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award, describing it as a great honor.
